Im Kim and I am one half of the blogging team behind Wright 2 Travel.
I am a Kiwi girl born in New Zealand twenty six years ago. I have been living in Australia for the past 5 years and Married Duane in 2009.
Before traveling I worked in Employee Relations in the Construction Industry. Yep you heard right, at 4:30am each morning the alarm would ring and this chick would step into steel cap boots and put on a hard hat – that was the case until we decided to give it all up to travel the world!
Before we left in February 2012 I was not fantastic in crowds, I could not speak another language, I had experience with public transport and had never stayed in a dorm room. Oh how this has all changed. I have now visited Beijing, a city with over 20 million people, I partied at Octoberfest, I have learnt the very basics of at least 5 languages, can use a metro with my eyes closed and have become a dorm room master. Travel has changed my life and opened me up to new perspectives and opportunities. It has been an incredible journey so far and will continue to be.
